It is a modal inertial shaker that is directly attached to the test specimen for excitation.
The FG-142 is a modal inertial shaker with a maximum excitation force of 1.8 Kgf (sine wave, during forced cooling). It features an inertial mass weight of 150 grams, an excitation frequency range of 20 to 3,000 Hz, and a diameter of 3.58 mm through-hole compatible with M3.5 and #6-32 screws for easy installation. Modal excitation using an inertial shaker offers higher reproducibility than hammering excitation and is easier to set up than conventional shakers.
